Giving with other vaccines
- Boostrix (Tdap): can be given on the same day. Clinical studies confirm that giving Gardasil 9 and Tdap (Boostrix) at the same time at two different sites does not affect the antibody response to either vaccine, and the rate of side effects is similar.
- Menactra (MenACYW-DT): can be given on the same day. HPV vaccine (Gardasil 9) and quadrivalent meningococcal vaccine (Menactra) can be given at the same time to adolescents at two different sites, to make the most of each visit and reduce travel costs.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Can be given while breastfeeding
