Privacy policy

Applies to the yhdp.vn website and the An Tiêm app.

The yhdp.vn website and the An Tiêm app are operated by Dr Hoàng Dương Bảo, the controller and processor of personal data under this policy. Contact: baohd@yhdp.vn.

We respect and protect your personal data in accordance with Decree 13/2023/NĐ-CP and the Law on Personal Data Protection. Health data is sensitive personal data; we only process it with your consent and only for the purposes you have chosen.

1. The yhdp.vn website

• You can search without an account.
• The date of birth or date of exposure you enter in the schedule calculators is only used to calculate and return the result immediately; it is not stored in a database and does not appear in the page address.
• The server keeps technical access logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed) for operation and security.
• The map page loads base maps from OpenStreetMap; the "Near me" function only uses your location in your browser to sort the list and does not send your location to our server.
• The website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools.

2. Data collected by the An Tiêm app

• Account: phone number (verified with an OTP code), full name.
• Family member profiles: full name, relationship, date of birth, sex; medical history and notes if you enter them.
• Vaccination record: doses, vaccination dates, due dates, place of vaccination, lot number, notes on reactions after vaccination.
• Rabies vaccination courses: date of exposure, exposure category, type of animal, notes.
• Devices: push notification token, device name and platform, app version.
• Consent history: purpose, document version, time of giving or withdrawing consent.
• Security logs: sign-in times, create, edit, delete and export actions, IP address. The logs contain no health information.

3. Purposes of processing and consent

You give separate consent for each purpose in the app and can withdraw it at any time:

• Terms of use and privacy policy (needed to use the vaccination record)
• Store health profiles and vaccination records for you and your family to calculate and remind you of vaccinations (needed to use the vaccination record)
• Send vaccination reminder notifications and emails (optional)
• Use anonymised data for statistics and to improve the service (optional)

If you withdraw consent to storing health data, the app stops recording new profiles and vaccination records; existing data is kept until you delete it. If you withdraw consent to reminders, notifications and emails stop.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. Some providers process data on our behalf:

• Google Firebase (Google LLC): phone number verification and push notifications. Google receives your phone number and device token; data may be processed outside Vietnam.
• Email service (if you turn on email reminders): your email address and the reminder content.

Reminder notifications do not name the vaccine or disease, so that someone looking at your lock screen cannot see your health information. We only provide data to state authorities when required by law.

5. Security

• Connections are encrypted (HTTPS).
• Medical history, notes, notes on reactions after vaccination and course notes are encrypted in the database.
• Each account can only access its own profiles; every action on health data is logged.

6. Retention

• Account data, profiles and vaccination records: until you delete them or delete your account.
• Sent reminders: 90 days.
• Security logs: 24 months.

7. Your rights

• View and download all your data: in the app, Account → Export data.
• Edit profile and vaccination record information at any time.
• Withdraw consent for each purpose under Privacy.
• Delete your account and all data: see how to delete your account.
• Send requests or complaints about personal data by email to baohd@yhdp.vn. We respond within the time limits set by law.

8. Children

Accounts are for adults. Children's profiles and vaccination records are created and managed by their parents or guardians.

9. Changes to this policy

When the policy changes, we will notify you in the app. Changes that affect the purposes of processing will require your consent to the new version.
