Vaccination schedule by date of birth

Target groups
Infants (0–1 year)
The most vulnerable stage; the primary series must be completed: tuberculosis (BCG), hepatitis B, 6-in-1, rotavirus, pneumococcal, meningococcal and measles vaccines.
People with chronic conditions
Heart disease, asthma, COPD, diabetes, kidney failure, liver disease… Priority vaccines: pneumococcal, influenza, shingles, hepatitis B.
Travellers / people going to outbreak areas
Yellow fever vaccine (required for parts of Africa and South America), typhoid, cholera, influenza, rabies and meningococcal vaccines as recommended under the IHR/WHO.
Young children (1–3 years)
Boosters and additional vaccines: Japanese encephalitis, chickenpox, MMR, seasonal influenza, hepatitis A.
Preschool children (4–6 years)
Boosters against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (Tetraxim/Tdap), dengue (from 4 years), second dose of chickenpox/MMR.
Adolescents (9–17 years)
HPV vaccine (2-dose schedule at 9–14 years), meningococcal ACWY/B, Tdap booster, dengue.
Women planning pregnancy or pregnant
Tdap (in every pregnancy, weeks 24–36), seasonal influenza, RSV (Abrysvo, weeks 24–36). Live vaccines are contraindicated during pregnancy.
Adults (18–59 years)
Catch-up on missed doses: hepatitis B, Tdap (every 10 years), yearly influenza, HPV (up to 45 years), dengue.
Health workers
High risk of exposure: hepatitis B, yearly influenza, measles–mumps–rubella, chickenpox, Tdap, meningococcal.
Older adults (60 years and over)
Yearly high-dose influenza, pneumococcal (PCV20/PPSV23), shingles (Shingrix), RSV (Abrysvo/Arexvy), Tdap.
