Expanded Programme on Immunization (Circular 52/2025/TT-BYT). The diphtheria–pertussis–tetanus booster at 18 months uses DTwP vaccine.

For children from 12 months who have not completed the combination vaccine. Hib component: unvaccinated children from 18 months need only 1 dose before 5 years. The health worker works out the missing doses from the vaccination record.

Special precautions
The 5-in-1 vaccine (DTwP-HepB-Hib) used in the Expanded Programme on Immunization: 3 doses at 2, 3 and 4 months of age. It does not contain a polio component.
