2-dose schedule for people aged 18–49 at increased risk of shingles
For: People with chronic conditions

Only for people at increased risk of shingles (immunocompromised, on immunosuppressive drugs, underlying conditions) as prescribed by a doctor. Immunocompromised or immunosuppressed people can receive dose 2 earlier, after 1–2 months.

2-dose schedule for people aged 50 and over (2–6 months apart)
For: Adults (18–59 years)

For people aged 50 and over, including older adults. People who have had shingles should still be vaccinated once the episode is over. Intramuscular, 0.5 ml per dose.
